You have to go to the Himalayas to search for the mythical Pantheon. At each level you will find a new riddle including precious stones. The ancient magic of Indian gods is concealed in these games. To release their magical power, click on groups of two or more identical gems. Depending on the number of gems in the group, you can get one of many divine bonuses or unique trophies for certain combinations.

Pantheon from Nevosoft Now Available on the App Store

St. Petersburg, Russia, September 29, 2011. Nevosoft, a top Russian casual game developer and publisher, announced the release of their game Pantheon - puzzle arcade for iPhone/iPad. Pantheon is set in ancient India, and is sending players on a quest to discover fantastically mystical land Ancient India, matching gems and unlocking artifacts as you go.

At each level players will find a new riddle including precious stones. You merely tap on groups of colored gems which, when clumps of two or more are adjacent to one another are selected, they disappear from play and, following gravity's rules, make way for those stacked above. Predictably, the goal of each stage involves eliminating all of the shaded squares by making matches on them before a burning candle time meter runs out. Succeed, and you move onto the next stage, with new gods added to your collection every few levels. Fail, and you'll lose one of four lives, with the game ending when the supply runs out.

Production values remain high as ever, play is eminently enjoyable and the overall degree of polish doesn't disappoint. Special attention should be given to the title's general theme. For a country of over 1 billion, and with such a rich and vibrant history, it's a wonder India doesn't receive more attention from game developers.

Power-ups are offered when several stones are cleared in a single move, such as bombs that explode, destroying all jewels around them, or lightning that disintegrates all gems of a single color. Using power-ups, it's additionally possible to spark off giant combos and clear whole sections of the screen at once. All of which, of course, come together to help create fun, if sometimes challenging, dynamics.
As an added bonus, the outing even features collectible trophies (e.g., statues and gilded ornaments that are earned by accomplishing feats like making 10 successful quick moves or activating four lightning power-ups in a row. Collecting the entire set takes time, giving even veterans reason to keep pounding away at the game.
