Magic Academy 2: new great hidden object quest now available for iPad and iPhone

St.Petersburg, Russia  July 14, 2011. Nevosoft, a top Russian casual game developer, announced the release of their game Magic Academy 2 for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Magic Academy 2 is a fascinating hidden object game with the puzzles and original mini-games.

The enchanted storyline is one of the game’s best assets and it has plenty of twists and suspense. You play from the perspective of an aspiring young magician, Irene, who applies to the Tirisfal Fortess to serve on the Magic Council. Unfortunately, she has chosen a bad time to apply - the council is embarrassed after the ancient magical treatise has gone missing! Rumors say, that it was stolen by one of the council members and all of the evidence points to Irene’s older sister, Annie. To prove herself worthy of being a councillor and to save her sister’s honor, Irene starts her own investigation.

The characters are represented with animated images of actual people. The great voice-over turns this game into an interactive cartoon or a movie where you have the main role. You'll have to solve lots of puzzles and mini-games and find all sorts of different objects.

Many objects and locations in the rooms can be manipulated to uncover other items, like by opening closet doors to reveal the contents inside. The hidden object tasks vary, and besides you are rarely asked to find more than a couple items at a time. The imagery here is rich and the high resolution makes it very easy to actually find the objects even on an iPhone screen.

An awful thing has happened in the world of magic! The magic council at the Tirisfal Fortress is in a near panic after a valuable and dangerous manuscript has gone missing - the treatise of Light and Darkness. If it falls into the wrong hands, the world may end...

In these times of troubles Irene, the main hero, applies to the Magic Council. She is an aspiring young magician who has just graduated from the Magic Academy and wants to serve as a councillor in the Tirisfal Fortress. But she has chosen a bad time to apply: rumors say, that the treatise was stolen by one of the council members and all of the evidence points to Irene’s older sister, Annie. To prove herself worthy of being a councillor and to save her sister’s honor, Irene starts her own investigation.

Together with Irene you’ll have to learn to cast magical spells, search for and use enchanted artifacts, unscramble ancient manuscripts, predict the future with help of runes, distinguish reality from sophisticated illusion, travel in time and even fight a powerful demon!
